What kind of games did you play as a child?

Sometimes I wonder what the youth of today would do with themselves if they went back to a time where there were not a billion electronic devices to entertain them. These days even the BABY DOLLS have to DO something for kids to watn them.
When I was little, I lived out in the middle of nowhere. There were no other kids for me to play with. I don't think anyone my age even lived anywhere near me.
On most weekends I went to stay with my Granny, and got to play with my friend Tracy then. She lived a few houses down and we were nearly inseparable on weekends and during the summer months.
We almost always played Cowboys. We each would be ranchers, with tons of horses or cows. Our bikes were our horses that we rode. (Mine was always a nearly wild black stallion with a white mane and tail). I also always had a pet wolf.
Even when we played barbie, which wasn't too often because I hated barbies, I made my barbie be a cowgirl. In fact, I don't have any of my barbies anymore, but I still have my barbie horse. His name was Bandit. It was ALWAYS Bandit.
At home, all alone, I often continued to play cowboys. I still had my trusty horse, after all. And in some ways it was even better, out in the country. My imigination could always run wild.

Hopscotch we drew on the sidewalk ourselves and made up our own rules.
Tag and hide go get it---(O.k we'll move right pass that one :)
Truth or dare......House. I was always the baby and my fast sister and her lil boyfriend were always the parents and just like my real ones, they always made me go outside and play....lol.
Oh and Jacks with the ten jacks and two balls.
O.k , I've said too much. yall going to think I'm old as dirt huh?
My sisters and I would ride our bikes up and down the driveway in the summertime. One of us would have the hose and the other two would take turns "filling up" on gas for our vehicles. (We'd actually just stick the hose down each other's swimsuits until it was so cold we couldn't stand it.)
I also made a lot of pretend coffee and fudge out of water, grass seeds, and mud. Grandma was always good about pretending to eat everything I brought her. My grandma is awesome like that.
he workd the 3rd shift, and every nite before he went to work, I got to spend 1/2 or so before bed and play checkers with him every nite,, even in the summer, that was my time
My parents were good about letting my brother and I go to different places to have fun like the skating center, vacation Bible School, parties etc. As someone in education, its sad to see so many kids not playing with actual toys and just vying for electronic toys.
The parents of one friend of mine had a small lumber pile behind the garage and let us build "forts" out of the lumber. When we would get tired of one design we would take it apart, pull out the nails and reuse it all to make a different design. :)
I can remember of course playing house,
all kinds of sports
and hide n seek.
I remember when going on walks we would make sure my siblings and I would not step on any cracks as we did not want to break our moms backs.
I remember doing role playing : acting out Battle Cats cartoon and other tv programs
Made mud pies ..etc.
I also played catch with a guy across the street. Most girls didn't do that in our area. He gave me a baseball glove and we played catch. He was a friend of my sister and he was probably 6 years older than I was but he was very sweet to play with me. I also played Hide n Seek with some of my friends when I was very young.
